I tried ,as the title of the post says, to amp up the cute on the bee lady. I am happy with the way it turned out. improved the pose a bit and anything with a big forhead is usually cute, I dont know why that is. I like this version much better, it is too bad the friend I did this for wont get a chance to see it. I think she would have really liked it.
It can be funny where inspiration will strike, thats about all I have to say about the second drawering.

I'm pretty sure the 'big cranium = cute' thing is genetically hardwired into us, as it's a feature of our young offspring. I'd say she'd be even cuter if you closed her mouth, raised the corners a little, and rounded out that upper left corner of her head.
Very nice!! I have to agree with the previous comments. It's cute without the cliche's! And if you want to go for even more cuteness you can try out Andy's tips ^_^! If you look at anime drawings and then especially chibi's, they usually have a big head and huge eyes. In some cases small round lips. But you probably already know that hehe!
