UPDATE: so this is my very first attempt at using Photoshop. I really liked this picture and wanted to amp it up, since the kid is suppose to be glowing i wanted to try and make him like like he is... once again I failed.. but I did some cool things with the picture. I lvoe the swirlies coming out of the back of the bike and I made the rocks look like rocks Lol. anyway it was lots of fun adn I'll be coloring in photoshop again VERY soon.

Bowser!

So here is the best thing i have ever colored. I do not fancy myself a color guy in anyway but this turned out awesome I think. Bowser was the first drawing I did for this little nintendo montage but the last one I colored. and he easily turned out lookin the best. Enjoy and please leave a comment or crit.

Jammin

So work has started doing its weekly drawing jam thanks to the initative of Dan helle. hes in my links check him out. Redesign nintendo character so I went with the classic mario luigi, but tried to make them a bit more adult. and its one of the first times I completed a picture in color and sorta brought it more to a final finished state. i also drew a bowser which im going to try and color tonight but for now I'll update with this

My ticket is booked. NOV 28th im in Ottawa. untill them I will be floating around fatkat helpin out here and there. I jsut got back from vacation and I hope to get back to drawing now that the overtime projects are done and HTF is done. and here is a little doodle I did today waiting for work... ahh i wish I was good with color. I had a version that had some greens laid in, but as ushual I overworked the peice and it ended up looksing sloppy and confusing.. so you guys only get the black and white sorry...maybe i'll woork mroe on it later

Life Altering Change

So my contract draws (no pun intended) to a end and so ends another chapter all be it a quick one in my life, but not without its merit. I have landed myself a job at mercury sudios in Ottowa. I go over there at the end of november to start work on a show called "gerald Mc boing boing" a kids show based off a Dr. Seus story. Should be fun, the move means more money and in a bigger studio then the one im at right now. looks like my career as a budding animator is starting to take off. I Loved my time at "fatkat" here in Miramichi, it being my first industry experiance, I got the chance to work with many talented ppl on a show I absolutly adore.. for any of you who don't know its called "Happy Tree Friends" airs every monday night at 12 am on g4tech tv. Fatkat is a studio with big dreams and is ran by a guy that I believe will change the industry someday. I think he really cares for animators and does his best to keep the fatkat experiance unuiqe and wonderfull. Gene buddy keep on rockin, I would recomend wokring at Fatkat to anyone. Im really excited and can't wait to see what the nations Capitol has to offer me. I also asked my asked Girlfriend to come with me, fingers crossed on that one. she has awhile to decide. but as of right now LIFE IS GOOD... I never want to make a post on this blog that doesn't involve a drawing of some sort so this tinman is something I did acouple days ago. Enjoy
